Now more than ever, our students need a focus on student wellness and self-care. Learn strategies for teaching meaningful lessons that have a clear “why”, focus on students’ well-being, and students’ need to connect with others both now and for a lifetime. This webinar hosted by David Schmidt of North Allegheny School District and Hannah Brewer-Meckley of Slippery Rock University will focus on strategies that can be used in a physical education or health classroom setting, and align with our program focuses on health and physical literacy, fitness, nutrition, and social-emotional wellness. Join us on Thursday, August 13th at 7 pm for Part one of a two-part series to ensure your lessons for the upcoming school year aligns with your program focus and are relevant to students’ lives today.

Part two will be held on Tuesday, August 18th at 7 pm. This second part will allow for conversations among teachers in round-table break out groups to network, share best practices, and connect to peers across the state.
