2010 Student Leadership Conference, October 8-10, 2010:

It is our pleasure to announce the Fourth Annual Pennsylvania State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (PSAHPERD) Student/Young Professional Leadership Conference.The conference will be held at East Stroudsburg University’s Stony Acres Environmental Center Friday, October 8 to Sunday October 10, 2010. Each university is given the opportunity to send 4 students and one faculty advisor to this event.

The conference will offer team and leadership building activities and presentations from established young and veteran professionals from around the state.

What to Bring:

Stony Acres is a large rustic resort. You will be staying in the main lodge. While you are staying you should bring the following items for the weekend.

1. Bedding (Mattresses are provided however you may want to bring a sleeping bag/sheets, and a pillow)
2. Comfortable clothing for an adventure course
3. Warm weather clothing
4. Extra pair of sneakers in case of rainy conditions
5. Extra snacks (food is provided) for yourself

One item that is needed upon registration is your healthcare insurance information. This is needed by Stony Acres in case of an emergency. Without this information you WILL NOT be able to use the challenge course on Saturday.
