EARL DAVID REED

EARL DAVID REED is a trendsetter in the comedy and radio world. Within his 15 years of stand up comedy, Earl has performed at over 100 comedy clubs and colleges and is a favorite in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Along with his 10 years of morning broadcasting experience and numerous television appearances, his improvisational style has become a favorite of radio and stage audiences all around.

Keynote Speaker: Rick Potts

Rick is the Chief of Conservation and Outdoor Recreation for the National Park Service. He has more than 30 years experience managing landscapes and their use by people, and has been with the NPS since 1984. He holds academic degrees in Animal Science (B.S., Pre‐Veterinary) and a Master of Science degree in Animal Nutrition/Wildlife Management from THE Penn State University. He is a wildlife biologist, a raduate of the National Park Natural Resource Specialist Training Program and the Penn State Executive evelopment Program. Rick is also a professional trainer and facilitator.


 

Rick is responsible for administering five national programs for the National Park Service: Rivers, Trails, and Conservative Assistance (RTCA), Wild & Scenic Rivers, National Trails System, Hydropower Assistance, and Challenge Cost Share. Through these programs, the NPS develops partnerships with communities and organizations across the country and works cooperatively with them to develop outdoor recreational opportunities and resource conservation projects. He places high priority on engaging with diverse new audiences, especially youth of the “Gen Y” or Millennial generation, to get them reconnected to the great outdoors for active recreation and conservation.

Currently working in Washington D.C., Rick and his wife Meredith have live and worked across a wide m of the country, including Pennsylvania, Virginia, Southwest Alaska, Montana, and the Hawaiian Island of Molokai.
